The Houston-based art blog Glasstire has posted — under the label “found art” — about this delightfully bizarre set of images by a Serbian man looking for a bride. They have to all be seen to be believed.
Any man with a gilded bidet is a ‘yes.’

Spotted yesterday at Accord Records in Copenhagen. Despite the teddy bear’s smile, there is nothing happy looking about this record.
yikes!

This concept camera is a digital instant camera modeled after Instagram!
It prints out photos on the spot and has a touch screen for picking filters. Thoughts?

amazing!
Was blown away by this late 18th century illustration I saw at the Met today: a Great Indian Fruit bat by an artist working in the circle of Bhawani Das. Just stunning. (Collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art.)
Madness or awesomeness?: This is a homemade lens made from a potato chip can, mounted on an Olympus PEN!
(BTW, the answer’s awesomeness.)

so awesome!
Our freshly made new banner, made - as always - from reused, heat-sealed plastic shopping bags and some glue. One handle for each member of the group. Look for this to be hanging behind our table in a couple weeks at the NY Art Book Fair.

Perhaps the 909 version should be spicy. More “kick”
This recipe is inspired by the extremely satisfying “808 fried chicken” at Portland’s 808 Grinds Hawaiian cart. Theirs is better because it’s battered and they serve it with the best mac salad in town, but mine is healthier (probably?) Cucumbers instead of mac salad - I mean, come on. Scroll…

fractals n’ shit.
Check out this optical illusion, the shapes and colors give a startling impression of movement, even though this is actually a still image! The movement always seems to be occurring where your eyes aren’t focusing.

Snoutlet
I was doing an interview with TPT.org about my MSCED project and I was asked to be prepared to make something ‘on the spot’ during the interview. Halfway through the interview, I still didn’t have an idea. Finally, I noticed the electrical outlets and this idea just came to the surface. I got a marker and just drew these two pigs. The title came quickly after.
